Wilderland offers an amazing opportunity to experience, teach, learn and develop skills in organic horticulture, land stewardship, community development, cooperative organisation and local economy, as well as a wide array of trades and crafts. You’ll gain an appreciation for what’s possible, and leave with a vision of how we can improve our lives, society and culture. It is a way of making a personal contribution towards a sustainable future.

A sustainable living experience

Our introduction to sustainable living is a structured four-week visitor programme, which is open to anyone passionate to learn, with intakes every second Sunday. Join a group of volunteers from around the world, and embark together on a month-long journey of learning and exchange.

Work together with us in a variety of jobs five mornings a week, including organic gardening, orchard care, land stewardship, fruit preserving, building maintenance, shopkeeping, cooking, working with natural herbal medicine and many other areas of life on the farm.

We do our best to let people do jobs that are of their interest – however the reality is that there are many people who want to do popular jobs and we have to take turns sharing ALL the jobs.

We endeavour to run community events at least twice a month to enjoy our time together, like pizza nights and saunas, as well as leaving plenty of free time for you to explore our slice of paradise and the surrounding area!
