Wilderlands Everyday Herbal Healing is our super blend, combining the power of three key New Zealand natives - kawakawa, mānuka, and kūmarahou - with chamomile, comfrey, lavender and propolis. Ideal for all wounds and cuts, fighting infection, accelerating healing and treating skin conditions.
All our herbal balms are in a base of 100% organic, 100% natural ingredients. All medicinal herbs are wild-foraged from our 64ha organic farm property in the Coromandel Peninsula of Aotearoa New Zealand, and macerated (slow-infused) in the base oils over a minimum of six weeks.
What makes it so good?
kawakawa - Contains myristicin, which is mildly antiseptic and has pain numbing properties, and so is used by Māori to allay toothache.
Mānuka - Methylglyoxal is its active ingredient, responsible for the antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.
kūmarahou - Contains Quercetin and Kampferol, plus ellagic acid. Ellagic acid is a natural phenol antioxidant found in numerous fruits and vegetables
Methylglyoxal is its active ingredient and likely responsible for these antibacterial effects. Additionally, Manuka honey has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. In fact, it has traditionally been used for wound healing, soothing sore throats, preventing tooth decay and improving digestive issues.
To use:
Massage onto affected area around 3 times a day. Intended for external use only. Do not consume.
